Vibrant shades of pink, orange, coral, and peach were the star of the show for this beautiful garden birthday picnic styled shoot. While bold, bright tones embraced the welcome-to-spring vibe, there were so many creative details that made the party’s design special. Some fabulous vendors came together to make this shoot extraordinary, such as sweet treats by Sweet Details GR, hair styling by Lindsey I, and vintage table settings from Gigi and LaClede. The day wouldn’t have been possible without Simply Unforgettable Occasions’ coordination skills, Nicole Yeager captured all of the beauty on camera, and of course, the mastermind behind the design and floral was Truer Design. At Special Occasions, we loved partnering with these fabulous vendors, as we supplied table and chair rentals, as well as linens and napkins.
No garden party is complete without prints, as gingham and floral were ever-present throughout the design. Additionally, the mix of bright pastels enhance the garden theme while maintaining a joyful, child-like aesthetic. Around every corner are brilliant floral arrangements, full of whimsical blooms, creatively placed in a bicycle basket, around umbrella stands, and sitting on every crate, bucket, or table surface available. It’s impossible to not feel giddy at a garden birthday party this blissful.
While the overall design is brilliant, the details are truly exceptional. Dancing with life-like frosting flowers, the first of the birthday cakes is a show stopper. There’s not one, but two cakes to awe over, and the second dons bannered ribbons in the same bright pastel hues. The cakes, however, aren’t the only sweet treats stealing the show, as precious flower and butterfly sugar cookies were decorated in sugary pastels by small hands.
Now, we may be biased, but the tables are our personal favorite! The large picnic table, which is covered in beautiful greenery and blooms, vintage place settings, guava matte satin napkins, and colorful glassware, all add to the youthful, spring aesthetic. Our orange monet printed panama dresses the cocktail tables, contributing more floral accents to the theme. The bistro tables, accessorized in light pink panama linens and our cross-back farm chairs, provides a sweet and delicate space for little ones to gather.
A perfect mix of sophistication and youthful charm, this garden birthday party exudes whimsical, childlike cheer, as bright, floral, and fun elements consume the design. If we’re handing out gold stars, the creative team behind this project deserves all the praise for satisfying not only the adult versions of ourselves who love a good aesthetic, but also our jubilant inner-child.
